COVID 19
It’s with a heavy heart we’re sad to announce the postponement of the 2020 pantomime Snow White at Liberty Hall Theatre, Dublin. However we look forward to bringing Panto to the theatre for 2021.
We've been assessing how theatres will re-open as we emerge from lockdown in the hope that Snow White at Liberty Hall Theatre could go on but such is the uncertainty around how the coming months will unfold that we have had to accept that panto with restrictions would not be the fantastic experience we all know and love.
So, like so many other cultural organisations and theatres, we are putting panto on hold for this year. We know it's a huge disappointment to all involved and our ever growing audience, but we are taking our team and the general public’s safety as our upmost priority, which is why we're determined to make Panto 2021 one of the most special ever!
If you had already booked Snow White tickets, don't worry - box office will be contacting you soon to directly to arrange a refund.
Liberty Panto Team.
What is Pantomime?
Pantomime is a type of musical comedy stage production designed for family entertainment. It was developed in England and is performed throughout the United Kingdom, Ireland as well as in other English-speaking countries, especially during the Christmas and New Year season.
Please note:
We recommend that pantomime is suitable for children over three years of age only.
Pantomime is loud for a small pair of ears,
Spectacular sights can sometimes cause tears!
If bringing a little one, please be aware,
One or two scenes are intended to scare.
The odd naughty joke for grown-up laughter,
Ensures that we all finish happily ever after.
If you do decide to bring little ones under three,
They may sit on a lap to watch the performance for free.
Note: Children aged three and over will require their own seat and a ticket purchased.
We kindly ask that if a child becomes upset during the performance that you take them outside for a short break, as this could disturb other patrons sitting around you and also distract the performers.
Thank you and enjoy the show!
